Especially within the Internet Privacy and Data Protection is very important. We're fully aware of this and know: Data Protection is a matter of trust!

Because of this, we surely comply with all data protection laws.


Important to know:

Collection of personal data

You can visit our website without entering any personal data. Whenever you access our site, we automatically collect and store the following information:

  • Date and time
  • Referrer: website where you came from
  • Your internet browser incl. version
  • Pages you visited
  • IP address from your computer
  • Duration of your visit

We only store and review this data to optimize our internet offer. For us it's not possible and not our intention to generate any kind of user profile with or without a personal reference.

We start to collect and store personal data when you decide to get in contact with us, e.g. if you place a purchase order, if you open a customer account or if you subscribe to our newsletter. If you place an order we also store the IP-address from the computer which has been used to place the order.

Use of personal data

Your personal data will only be used to process and transact your order, to complete the payment and to maintain our business relation.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we'll use your name and email address for advertising purposes, until you inform us that you would like to unsubscribe the newsletter.

Transfer of personal data

We'll only transfer your personal data to a forwarder, if there is a need to, e.g. if we deliver an order to your address. For direct debit or if we transfer money to your bank account we'll transfer your bank data to our bank to complete the transfer. Personal data we transfer is only allowed to be used for the specific task. We'll never transfer any of your personal data to anyone else.


Data security and cookies

Data security

We protect our website and systems with technical and organizational actions against loss, deletion, access, manipulation or distribution of your personal data by unauthorized persons. That's the reason why we use SSL technique (SSL = Secure-Socket-Layer) whenever you acces your customer account or when you process an order entry. This is an established and very secure system where all data will be encrypted on your computer before you send them, so no one else can reconstruct them. On top of this we can ensure, that data will only be sent back to the requesting server.

Access to your customer account is only possible with your personal password. You should always keep your login data confidential. You should always close the browser window, if you finished a communication with us. This is especially important if you used a computer which will be shared with other users (e.g. in an internet-cafe).

Use of cookies

To allow you to enter an order it's neccessary on some pages to use a server cookie. It's a small text file which will be automatically deleted from the server when you close your browser session. It's a required file that we need for special applications, e.g. our internet shop cart system. We don't store any data cookies on your computer.

Based on the German Federal Data Protection Act you have free of charge the right to get the information about the personal data we collected and stored, but also the right to correct these data, to lock or to delete them.

How to cancel agreements

If you are already a customer of our shop, you explicitly accepted the following agreement as part of the ordering process. We would like to emphasize, that you can revoke the given agreement at any time for the future.

Opening a customer account

I agree, that, as part of the customer account creation process, my personal data (e.g. name, address, email, phone number, bank account) and account data (login, password) will be stored within the customer database. In this way, for further orders I can login using my account data and automatically reuse my stored personal data. I can revoke my given agreement at any time for the future. To do so, I only need to send a request to the customer support team and ask them to delete my customer account.

Subscribing to our newsletter

I subscribe to your newsletter to receive emails on a regular basis. My email address will not be handed over to any any other party or company. My agreement to use my email address for advertising purposes can be revoked at any time for the future while I mark and submit the check box for newsletter cancellation or I submit this request using the appropriate option within the "My Account" area.
